Yes, I have been organizing lately, in all my free time (wink, wink). My time hasn't just been spent working on my house. Lots of my time has been spent reading a few organization blogs, shopping for different items (not finding much luck finding what I want!!), and talking with others about what they do. I go to sleep most nights thinking about what I want to do in my house. My biggest problem is finding containers that work in the space I have.
Soooo, I have felt enlightened with a certain thought on organization. I have heard it said many times that organization takes constant effort. I thought that it only meant that you have to keep putting things away in their proper place. As I have been working through all the items in my house I realize that this concept of "constantly organizing" means so much more. As I organize one section I am constantly changing what I think should go where. I find new items the need a home or make room on a shelf, in a cupboard, in a room, etc. for other items. I am constantly changing where I put everything, trying to get everything in its perfect place. For example, I would like all Steve's and my clothes in our bedroom. Yes, you would think that would be so easy, but as I go through things I keep finding boxes of clothes (winter clothes, camping clothes, skinny clothes, maternity clothes, post-baby fat clothes, etc.) and I want them all to be in the same types of containers in our room. So I have to make room for these clothes, moving items out of our room that may not fit as well in a bedroom. Then, I have to find a place for these items that our being moved out, and it just continues. Hence, the concept of constantly organizing. It is always changing and evolving. Though, I hope that I am busier now as I am doing this huge overhaul of our home, I know that it will never end. I will continually be finding ways to organize.

I was talking to my mom about a week ago, and she said that they went to a place called the Container store, I dont know if its expensive or not, but she said it had AWESOME Organizing stuff.. maybe its online..I agree, Organizing is a constant..I dont have a heck of alot of time for it, hence the un organization of my house... hahaha..
We have a Container Store here!! Yes, it is a little expensive, but it is SOOOO awesome. I should go there and see if I can get inspired by containers.
