Surprise Visit

This last Thursday Andrew called asking what our plans were for Valentine's Day. I told him we were just planning on hanging out here at home. He asked if he and Erin could join us!! We were so excited to have them come up and see us!! They left that afternoon and made it here a little after midnight. We spent the weekend together eating junkfood, playing games, and staying up way too late!!

We went to the Portland Art Museum with all three kids. We were pretty sure the security guards were monitoring our every move and warning each other via walkie-talkies that we were coming their way. We went out to dinner at the Tree Restaraunt in Portland and stopped at VooDoo Donuts for dessert.

Valentines Day was spent here at home. We had pizza and "parfaits" (icecream sundaes) for dessert, the kids watched Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and the adults stayed up late playing games. Sunday was church, a relaxing afternoon dinner, and another late night of games and goodies. So fun to spend time with my family. I love it when they come!! Thanks Andrew and Erin for making the LONG drive here and spending time with us.
