An Ax, A Man, and A Tree

What more do I need to say?? He was so excited to cut this tree down, so proud that it fell right where he wanted it to fall, and so happy to use the chain saw to cut up wood for our first fire in our fireplace.
Let me tell you, it was a huge tree. I sat at the window and watched, making sure the kids stayed in the house and praying that the wind didn't make the tree fall on our home.

Before I called the kids inside, Steve let Jakob swing the ax a few times!! Scary!! I was not

aware of this till I saw the photos later. Glad he is my cautious boy. Hope Steve won't be giving Isabelle an ax anytime soon.
